HealthScan Malaysia™ houses The first 64-slice  Multi-Detector CT Scanner in South-East Asia.  It is used to:-

• By using calcium scoring to survey all the vessels of the heart, give you an assessment of heart attack risk
• Identify vulnerable deposits of plaque- the main cause of heart attack and stroke - in the heart and brain vessels at the earliest  stages of development, well before they are detectable using existing non-invasive methods such as stress test, nuclear imaging and ultrasound/Doppler studies
• Perform non-invasive total body angiogram accurately as an alternative to the invasive method to assess coronary, peripheral and cerebral blockages, bypass grafts, stents and congenital abnormalities
• Detect stroke early
• Detect early cancer in the major organs including the brain, lungs, liver and kidneys. Perform non-invasive virtual colonoscopy to detect polyps and early cancer in the large bowel, helping avoid the discomfort and inconvenience of endoscopic colonoscopy
